Everything you need to know about ECCO.
Yes. All AI processing — sample analysis, search, similarity matching — runs locally on your machine. No data is ever sent to the cloud. ECCO works with zero internet connectivity.
ECCO supports WAV, MP3, FLAC, OGG, AIFF, and M4A files. If your samples are in any of these formats, ECCO can index, analyze, and search them.
ECCO works with any DAW that supports drag-and-drop audio import — that includes Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Pro Tools, Reaper, Bitwig, and more.
Absolutely. ECCO doesn't move or modify your files. It indexes them in place and analyzes their audio characteristics. Point it at your folders and go.
ECCO uses a local neural network to analyze each sample's sonic profile — frequency spectrum, transients, tonal content, and more. It then generates descriptive tags and enables natural language search so you can find samples by describing what you hear.
Workflow Mode collapses ECCO into a compact, always-on-top overlay. You can search, browse, preview, and drag samples directly into your DAW without leaving your project. When idle, clicks pass through to the window beneath.
